Aid worker and child
These pictures date back quite a while – I was studying A Level art and I had what perhaps be considered a morbid fascination with Hiroshima, but don’t forget I grew up with Thatcher and Reagan constantly in the headlines and paranoia about nuclear war was pretty high. The sketches never really progressed much beyond that, but I still really like the work I did on these.
